Alligator Sky Doctor Who Fan Video

This isn't a Fan-vid Friday video, just a very well made video I keep watching again...and again...and again...
Anyway, here it is:

More on Episode 10

Matt Smith and Karen Gillan have given more information about part two of Series 6.

"I think it's my favorite title of the season so far," Smith said about Let's Kill Hitler. "Alex Kingston [River Song] is on fine fiddle through the episode. She is just brilliant in it. There are some great science-fiction moments where you are going ‘no way!'"

“[There's] this really cool robot/villain [that] goes back in time and fixes people that have done [something] wrong in history.” Karen said. This sounds sort of like a Reaper, from the Series 1 episode Father's Day. However, she could be talking about the Tessalector.

Matt Smith congratulated Karen on her performance in Episode 10, where something "really, really bad" happens to Amy, "And the Doctor is part of it."

The videos from the Comic-Con panel can be seen here.

Hints for The Girl who Waited

The writer for episode 10, Tom MacRae, has given a few hints on his episode:

Amy fights a handbot in The Girl who Waited

“My ep was NEVER called ‘The Green Anchor’, but the Green Anchor is very, VERY important! And also the best place to be.”
He added: “Amy’s favourite cat was called Biggles. What’s important is – that’s the name she DIDN’T use later on..”
Later on, he posted three quotes from the episode:
  • Quote 1 – “How can you have a door without a wall?”
  • Quote 2 – “The Green Anchor…The Red Waterfall.”
  • Quote 3 – “You want to update Twitter!?”

Karen Gillan on Let's Kill Hitler monster, River's character

In an interview with Zap2it, Karen Gillan has revealed a few teasers for the next part of Series 6.

More on Let's Kill Hitler: "It's so good. The relationship between Amy and River is really explored, Alex Kingston gives an amazing performance, And there's a really interesting villain called the Tesselector (spelling unsure), and there's a really interesting concept behind that."

River's character: "[Her character] was as big a shock to me as it was to the audience," Karen says."Alex Kingston knew the whole time, the sneak."

The Amy/River relationship: "Motherhood would change any woman, so it's definitely going to be the same for Amy," says Karen. "We're just going to see that relationship really explored between River and Amy...and also, something really interesting happens to Amy, but I'm not going to tell you."

And on Amy's journey: "We met her as a child, we've seen her as a young woman, we've seen her run away in the Tardis, get married and now she's had a child," she says. "I would love to see her whole life play out, because we don't normally get that with a companion."

The Doctor at Lake Silencio (which translates to Silence)
The Doctor: "Haven't you figured it out yet?"

No, Doctor. We haven't.

Title for episode 10

The Doctor Who official website has released the title for the mysterious episode eight, and here it is............

THE GIRL WHO WAITED

This would indicate an episode about Amy Pond. It airs later this year.

Karen Gilllan back for Series 7

Despite signs Karen Gillan (and her character Amy Pond) might be leaving Doctor Who, today she's confirmed she will be returning for the seventh series.

Zap2it interviewed Karen Gillan at Comic-Con and asked her if she was returning for Series 7 of Doctor Who.
Karen replied: “I am going to come back, yes. That’s the first time I’ve said that today!”
